SOPS Nursing Home Survey: What You Need To Know (Webcast)
Summary
This AHRQ webcast focused on use of the Surveys on Patient Safety Cultureâ„¢ (³§°¿±Ê³§Â®) Nursing Home Survey to assess and improve resident safety culture. Speakers described the importance of resident safety culture, the survey and its administration, and the benefits of participating in AHRQ’s SOPS Nursing Home Survey Database. An opportunity to participate in a pilot study of workplace safety supplemental items was also shared.

The Surveys on Patient Safety Culture are a suite of surveys that assess provider and staff opinions about patient safety culture in hospitals, outpatient medical offices, nursing homes, community pharmacies, and ambulatory surgery centers. The patient safety culture surveys program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supports the development and promotion of patient safety culture surveys, toolkit materials, and databases, and provides technical assistance to users.
